Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 17, and 18.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

5 on the trails. 7 am start. slow. hot and humid again. I had The Wanton Song stuck in my head the whole time. I was trying to think of a song that I have liked more for a longer period of time that I know exactly 0 words to. You would have thought that I would have learned at least 1 word to that song by now.

Something different: 67 deg., 59% hum. 52 d.p. 20 mph wind from the north. We expect to be back to summer by Thursday.

Say what you will about the elections yesterday, but I'm just happy the rest of the country isn't pointing at Florida, like we messed up the whole thing. In fact, Florida comes out of this looking like the standard of election day efficiency, that all other states should aspire to.
