Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 17, and 18.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

7.5 miles. Hood route. 6 am start. Last mile 6:41, but was over shadowed by crazy jumbo-tron church sign. It said "we support the first and the second amendments." And had a picture of the "I'm just a lonely old bill, sitting here on capital hill" animated scroll of paper, aiming a hand gun, and squinting with one eye.

3.5 miles. In tropical storm #9. I'd like to do that 5 minute 1200s with 400 AR workout after football practice tonight, but we're supposed to get 6 inches of rain in the next 3 days. It is likely that most of the lanes are flooded. We'll see.

7.5 miles hood route. No rain, but i had to hop over my share of puddlea and storm debris. Fantastic high tide racing out of the bays.

7.5 miles. Hood route to Legacy trail and back. 6 am start . Lots more debris to jump and move off the sidewalks. I had two separate storms while running. When it wasn't raining, i had hot breeze. Man, I hate the hot breeze. There is no joy there.

7:30 pm. I did the same thing all over again. much faster the secomd time. Somebody cleaned up the sidewalks..
