Short-Term Running Goals:

2020 GOALS:

Publix Fort Lauderdale A1A Half Marathon - 1/26/20. PR.

Gasparilla 15k Tampa AAARGH you ready to run? - 2/22/20. Don't put up an ugly time.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 13, and 14.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

am: 5.5 miles. hood route. 7 am start. Like I was swimming.

pm: 5.5 miles Legacy Trail from the Train station north to Laurel and back with Johnny on his bike. We really had to push it at the end so we wouldn't get home too late. Great sunsets over Roberts Bay and Dona Bay. He now has 39.6 bike miles on the trail in 14 days. Tommy has 25.5.

It was my goal to hit 55 miles per week for June. Johnny was nice enough to go out with me for the last 5. Hopefully, next week will not have the miles so loaded to the end of the week.

Nice running this week. I know what you mean by loading them up at the end. I have done it many times, but it isn't necessarily bad from a training perspective, just nerve-racking.

You're really on a roll lately - having those active boys is a plus.

As for me I went to dance recitals pretty much all day yesterday.

Flat, not off to a good start this week, either. I'm going out tonight, but it has been long day already, and I don't know how many miles I'll get.

Joe, I only had a dance recital from 12:00 - 2:30 yesterday. Tommy was in hip-hop. It was great. Then we went out for deep fried hot dogs to celebrate, which kind of messed up my night run.
