Short-Term Running Goals:

2023 GOALS:

Coastal Delaware Running Festival Marathon - 4/16/23 - Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 17, and 18.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

7.5 miles. Hood Route. 5:30 am start. So humid. How humid? ..... Sounds were muffled.

Skipping the Celery Hill tonight. I have other obligations. I'm sure the gnats will miss me.

The Celery Hill and the gnats are going to miss. How do you come up with these things?

I am starting to revise my opinion about heat, after seeing so many people out running in Dubai. I have always thought that mid-70s dew point was pretty much the maximum for the human body, but not so sure anymore. After only one run outside in Dubai, Houston felt cool, not kidding. Not sure what the training effect is, but it caught my attention.

At least they don't have as many gnat clouds in Dubai.

Flat, I was thinking that when you got back from Dubai, you would start running with a ski cap, you know, because it's so cold where you live.
