Short-Term Running Goals:

2023 GOALS:

Coastal Delaware Running Festival Marathon - 4/16/23 - Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 17, and 18.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

5.5 miles. Hood route. 6 am start. The heel is doing much better. But I am walking a line here. Normally, i would double up Wednesdays. I am a bit concerned that might be too much. On the other hand, it is 57 days to race day.

Hard to say, but I think as long as you are aware the line is there you won't cross it -- or even if you do you won't fall into the abyss. But I might pull out a good running book instead of doing a double if it were me. I think that counts as cross-training.

Spouse says to take the night off, too. I am definitely leaning that way. Reading? Not likely. I'm Probably going to spend my evening yelling from the sidelines at football practice.
