I think how you felt is a better indicator. A lot of times the places like Weather Channel extrapolate temperatures and other data from a distant location.
Here is how Burt told me to post pictures, once it is on your computer: Open an account in Photobucket or a similar web site. Then click "upload" and move your photo to that site. Then you can right-click on the photo to get a URL that can be copied. Then when you are writing your blog entry there is an icon at the top that looks like landscape. If you click on it a window will open and you copy the URL over. Then the photo shows up at the location of your cursor. Kind of a pain, not sure why it can't just be dragged in from the computer -- maybe this way he keeps people from posting too many pictures and eating up bandwidth.
